My Curriculum Vitae (CV)

My experience in computers began when I was in primary school with BBC computers, though intensively since the begining of the 90's starting off with an intel 8088 CPU based computer running MS-DOS. Therefore I have a rather extensive knowledge of the Microsoft DOS and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, and basic knowledge of Linux based Operating Systems, mainly on Mandrake (now known as Mandriva) Linux, and Fedora Core Linux distributions.

I have also obtained substantial knowledge on computer hardware, where for years now I have been assembling computers components and network accesories.

Education:

Currently studying at the Technological Educational Institute of Larissa as a Telecommunication and IT Technician,

Seminars & Expositions

Whenever I get the chance I attend the Cisco Expo - a seminar where you are updated on Cisco products - and also other expos based on computer technology.

Past work experience:

After high school I worked for about a year as an Electronics Technician at a Electronics repair shop where I was mainly working on stereos, videos and other minor electronic devices (such as TV and video controls) gaining some experience over electronics.

I have also worked for a short time gem mine company where my father worked as a manager.

During my University years I occasionally offered computer service support such as computer & network installation and setup.

Languages :

I can speak fluently Greek, English and Swahili.
